Please unpack and inspect your BelBagno product before installation to ensure it is the correct item and has not been damaged in transit.

If you notice visible damage, a missing component or an apparent defect, do not proceed with installation. Take clear photographs and contact the retailer you purchased the product from, or BelBagno, for assistance.

Products must be installed in accordance with the supplied installation instructions, applicable standards and relevant licensing requirements. Plumbing work must be carried out by an appropriately licensed plumber, and electrical work on LED products by an appropriately licensed electrician where required.

Installing a product with visible damage, or installing it incorrectly, may affect the assessment of a claim and associated costs. This does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If you experience an issue with a BelBagno product, please contact the retailer where it was purchased or submit a warranty claim using our online form.

To help us review your claim, please provide:

  • Proof of purchase, or a certificate of occupancy for a new home where relevant.
  • Product name or model number.
  • A brief description of the issue.
  • Clear photographs and/or video showing the product and the reported issue.
  • Your contact details and installation address, where applicable.

Once we receive your information, our team will review the claim and contact you if further details or an inspection are required.

You will be required to leave the product in place until we contact you with further instructions or details, as warranty is void if the item is uninstalled without the manufacturer’s permission. We will get back to you within 3 business days to resolve your matter.

Submit a Warranty Claim

BelBagno will assess the reported issue against the applicable product warranty and the circumstances of the claim. Additional information or an inspection may be required.

Where a claim is accepted, the appropriate resolution may include replacement components, repair or replacement of the affected product, depending on the issue and applicable consumer rights.

Warranty service may be carried out by authorised technicians during business hours, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Reasonable access to the installed product must be provided to allow inspection or repair.

Where a claim is assessed as outside the applicable warranty, a service call-out fee and charges for labour or parts may apply. Any proposed chargeable work should be explained before proceeding.

If an original product is no longer available, BelBagno may propose an alternative of equivalent function and quality, subject to applicable consumer rights.

BelBagno warranties cover eligible product defects. They do not ordinarily cover damage or deterioration caused by circumstances unrelated to a manufacturing defect, including:

  • Incorrect installation or failure to follow installation instructions.
  • Accidental damage, misuse, abuse or vandalism.
  • Damage during subsequent transportation, relocation or handling.
  • Normal wear and tear, including consumable items such as seals and rubber components.
  • Unauthorised alterations or modifications.
  • Damage caused by unsuitable cleaning products or failure to follow product instructions.
  • Damage caused by third-party equipment.
  • Use outside the product’s intended application, including certain public or high-use settings.
  • Conditions relating to display stock, subject to disclosures made at sale and statutory consumer rights.

Additional product-specific requirements

Toilets & cisterns
Cistern mechanisms must be installed within the specified maximum working water pressure of 500 kPa. The warranty sheet identifies excessive pressure, poor water quality and incorrect adjustment of inlet or outlet valves as potential causes of damage or malfunction. Do not use in-cistern flushing cleaners or chemical additives. Toilet pans must not be installed directly on a sand-and-cement mix.

Vanities & cabinetry
BelBagno cabinetry uses moisture-resistant materials but is not waterproof. Appropriate ventilation, sealing and protection from prolonged water exposure are essential. Vanities, basins and tops must be fitted to completed wall finishes and must not be tiled into the wall. Doors and drawers may require adjustment after transport and installation.

Bathtubs, basins & tops
Inspect acrylic baths and other surfaces for visible damage before installation. Waste fittings must not be overtightened, as this may place stress on the basin or top. Follow the installation instructions supplied with the specific product.

Mirrors & LED mirror cabinets
Products must be installed appropriately and protected from unnecessary moisture exposure, particularly around mirror edges. Electrical installation must be carried out by a suitably licensed electrician where required.

Toilet seats
Toilet seats are not designed to be stood on. Hinges and fittings may require periodic adjustment during normal use; loosening alone is not necessarily a manufacturing defect.

These conditions apply to the voluntary product warranty and do not exclude any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Our product warranties are provided in addition to your rights and remedies under Australian Consumer Law. The following statement applies to goods supplied to consumers:

“Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded in the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.”

Exclusions: To the fullest extent permitted by law, BelBagno Australia excludes all liability for damage or injury to any person, damage to any property, and any indirect, consequential or other loss or damage. BelBagno Australia will not be liable to bear the expense of claiming the warranty (i.e. time off work, postage, etc).
